Ash Ketchum meets his most infamous foe to date. He meets an alternate version of himself that joined Team Rocket!

Team Rocket headquarters in the Kanto Region near a mountainous area.
Giovanni: Excellent work, my minions. The Kanto Region is ours and Team Rocket has spread its claws to other regions like Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and more recently the Kalos Region. You have all done so well, but now the world has become all too small. We need more territory and I think our latest capture by my top agent will allow us that. Come in, Agent Ketchum.
Giovanni is referring to Ash Ketchum of all people, but he is in a Team Rocket uniform.
Ash: You honor me, sir.
Giovanni: You have done exceptionally well, here in my organization.
Ash: I live to serve you, boss.
Giovanni: As it should be. Your capture of this very rare and very powerful Pokémon will allow us to escape our dimension and go to others. My friends, I present to you: Phoemos!
Phoemos is a giant bird Pokémon it looks like with an almost swan like appearance whose appearance glistens with absolute beauty.
Ash: It was child's play, Giovanni sir. With Phoemos' powers, we can invade other dimensions that have their own Pokémon and Pokémon regions.
Giovanni: And I want you to lead the invasion, Ash.
Ash: My pleasure, sir.
This bad Ash who is a member of Team Rocket now has plans of some kind to invade other dimensions and capture their Pokémon. Although now in another dimension is Ash, Serena, Clemont, and his little sister, Bonnie. They're passing through a forest on their way to Ash's next gym battle.
Bonnie: Oh, Dedenne, you are so cute.
Dedenne: Dedenne!
Ash: You know we've been travelling a long ways, you guys. When we get to town, why don't we stop at the Pokémon Center for the night?
Serena: I'm game. We can get something to eat too.
Clemont: That sounds like a plan to me.
Bonnie: Yay! What do you say, Dedenne?
Dedenne: Dedenne!
So, the gang decides to head to the Pokémon Center, but Team Rocket is hiding in the bushes, following them around as usual.
Jessie: The Pokémon Center, James.
James: Those twerps make capturing Pikachu really easy.
Meowth: Then what are we waiting for?
Team Rocket share in a chuckle and head straight to the next town, but up in the clouds there is a large airship with a giant red letter R. In it is the bad Ash and a group of Team Rocket grunts.
Ash: Has the transfer been successful?
Grunt: Yes, sir. Phoemos' power has brought us here to this dimension as we hoped.
Ash: What's this world like? Is it like ours?
Grunt: It is, sir. The sensors are picking up several Pokémon species.
Ash: Such as?
Grunt: We're reading: Pikachu, a swarm of Beedril, Wingull, Skarmory, and many others known to our world.
Ash: Very good. Very good. Exactly where are we now?
Grunt: The Kalos Region.
Ash: Good. Then we can begin setting up a new base of operations here and collecting Pokémon too. Butch and Cassidy, come here.
Ash is soon approached by Butch and Cassidy.
Butch & Cassidy: Yes, sir!
Ash: I want you two to survey the area. Pick out the best location for a Kalos Region base and then alert me to it. As soon as I give the okay, then we shall begin construction at once.
Cassidy: Yes, sir.
Butch: On it.
Cassidy: Let's go, Biff.
Butch: The name is Butch!
They take off.
Ash: Ha. This world will belong to Giovanni, as will all the Pokémon.
Butch and Cassidy take off in a small jet craft.
Butch: Scanning area. I think I got something.
Cassidy: What is it, Botch?
Butch: That's BUTCH!!! Anyway, here is a vacant spot outside this town. It's called Azalea Town. I bet it's loaded with chump Pokémon Trainers and is ripe with Pokémon.
Cassidy: Then let's tell First Commander Ash.
Butch: Got it.
He sets a transmission to the mothership.
Butch: Sir, we got a location. It's large and close to Azalea town, but lacks any real human activity.
Ash: Sounds perfect. Then proceed and begin operation: Build and Capture.
Cassidy: Yes, sir.
Butch: We're on it.
Azalea Town is where Ash and his gang are headed actually and they finally make it to the Pokémon Center.
Nurse Joy: Welcome to the Pokémon Center. How may I be of service?
Ash: We were hoping for a room for the night and if you'd check our Pokémon over.
Nurse Joy: Of course you can have a room, young man, and I'd be happy to give your Pokémon a check-up.
Serena: Thank you very much, Nurse Joy. Here you go.
Serena hand over her Fennekin, Ash hands over his Pikachu and two other Pokémon, Clemont hands over his two, and Bonnie gives Nurse Joy her Dedenne.
Nurse Joy: Why don't you help yourself to some lunch while the kitchen is still open? Our specialty here is spaghetti and meat balls.
Ash: Sounds good. I'll see you in a bit. Okay, Pikachu?
Pikachu: Pika!
Ash and his group walk to the restaurant in the Pokémon Center, but Team Rocket is watching them.
Jessie: While they're snacking...
James: We're snatching.
Meowth: Then let's go.
Unknown to them though, Butch and Cassidy while in disguise walk into the Pokémon Center themselves.
Cassidy: Let's do this, Butch.
Butch: My name is Butch! Oh, that's what you said.
Butch and Cassidy then go around searching the Pokémon Center themselves for an easy Pokémon haul.
Ash: That was so good. The cook here really knows his way around spaghetti.
Clemont: I can't eat another bite.
Serena: Me neither.
Ash: Hey, you guys, I'm going to go check on Pikachu. See you soon.
Serena, Clemont, & Bonnie: Okay.
Clemont: We'll wait here for you.
sh: Thanks.
Ash walks over to Nurse Joy.
Ash: Nurse Joy, can I check on my Pikachu?
Nurse Joy: Of course, Ash. Follow me.
So as they make way to the back, Jessie, James, and Meowth are in the medical wing where there are hundreds of Poké Balls.
Jessie: Jackpot!
James: The mother load!
Meowth: And I didn't even know my mother. Let's swipe 'em up.
Before they can do that though, they soon hear something. It's Butch and Cassidy.
Cassidy: Jessie!
Jessie: Cassidy!
Butch: James!
James: Bill!
Butch: It's not Bill! It's Butch! What are you three fools doing here and in those uniforms!
Cassidy: That's right! You were kicked out of Team Rocket a long time ago.
Jessie: What?! You're lying!
James: That's right. The boss would never kick us out. Especially since we've been doing so much better lately.
Meowth: If we've been doing better then why haven't we caught the twerp's Pikachu?
Cassidy: Wait, now I get it. When we came to this dimension, Butch, then we must have come to one where Jessie and her gang of twits are still in Team Rocket.
Jessie: Now you're talking real nonsense! What do you mean by "this dimension?"
Soon though Ash and Nurse Joy enter here.
Ash: Team Rocket!
Jessie, James, & Meowth: The twerp!
Butch and Cassidy: Sir!
Cassidy: Sir, what are you doing here? You should be back on the airship.
Ash: Sir? I don't know what your up to this time, Cassidy and Clutch...
Butch: That's BUTCH! Out of all people, sir, you always remember my name.
James: I think they've lost it.
Jessie: They keep calling the twerp: sir.
Meowth: Let's scram.
Jessie: Not without the Pokémon.
Ash: You're not going anywhere!
Ash attempts to reach for one of his Poké Balls, but remembers that they're gone.
Meowth: Ha! The twerp ain't got no Pokémon.
James: Let's get 'em then. Go, Inkay!
Jessie: Go, Pumpkaboo!
Cassidy: Protect Ash! Go, Houndour!
Butch: Go, Cloyster!
Ash: Cassidy called me Ash. What's going on here?
Cassidy: Go, Houndour! Use your flamethrower!
Butch: Cloyster, use your ice beam!
Pumpkaboo and Inkay are taken out pretty easily so then Jessie and James recall their Pokémon. Ash's Pikachu is finally recovered fully and comes to Ash's rescue.
Ash: Okay, Pikachu. Now use your thunderbolt attack!
Pikachu: Pika-CHUU!!!!
Pikachu attacks Jessie, James, Meowth, but also Butch and Cassidy who all feel the full treatment.
Ash: Call Officer Jenny, Nurse Joy.
Nurse Joy: Right away.
Officer Jenny and her police force arrive post haste and escort Team Rocket in the back of a police van.
Officer Jenny: Thank you for alerting us to these crooks, Ash. You made our town a little safer.
Ash: You're welcome, Officer Jenny. I hope it's the last we see of Team Rocket.
Serena: You know until the next time, right?
Ash: Yeah, they don't stay locked up too long do they? Funny this is though, Cassidy and Bob called me by my name.
Butch: It's BUTCH! BUTCH! BUTCH!
Jessie: Oh, can it, Buck.
Butch: It's Butch!
They're loaded in the police van and are going directly to jail.
Butch: Can you believe this, Cassidy? The boss sent us up the river.
Cassidy: I'm not so sure, Butch. If this dimension has its own Jessie and James...
Butch: Then maybe it has its own version of the boss. I thought he looked different and he doesn't have a Pikachu.
Cassidy: He has a Raichu.
Jessie: What are you two blabbing about?
James: And why do you keep calling the twerp: "boss"?
Cassidy: Say, gang, how would you like to work for a new and improved Team Rocket?
Butch: Imagine all the Pokémon that can all belong to you.
Meowth: Sounds good.
James: Sure does.
Jessie on the other hand pounds both Meowth and James to the floor of the van.
Jessie: What do you mean it sounds good? They're the enemy!
Cassidy: Would we still be if I told you we have a plan for getting out?
Jessie: What plan?
Butch: This.
Butch pulls out a small explosive and tosses it at the lock which causes it to explode and the door slams wide open. The cop driving the van slams on the breaks.
Officer Jenny: The prisoners!
They go round back to see that they have all escaped.
Officer Jenny: Oh, no. Put out an APB on Team Rocket!
Cop: Yes ma'am!
Team Rocket manage to get to an alley way.
Jessie: That was close.
James: Sure was.
Meowth: This is closer. Hey what are they doing?
Cassidy: What does it look like?
Butch: We're calling our boss.
Jessie: Giovanni?
Cassidy: No.
Butch: Someone better.
Their communicator has a video screen on it and soon an image pops up.
Ash: Well, what is it?
Cassidy: A slight change in plans, sir.
Ash: What?!
Butch: Look who we have here.
Cassidy shows Ash the trio.
Ash: Jessie, James, and Meowth?
Jessie: It's the twerp!
James: What's he doing in there?
Meowth: And in a Team Rocket uniform.
Ash: Explain.
Cassidy: We found out that in this dimension, sir, that those three weren't kicked out of Team Rocket.
Butch: Also that there's another you in this world too.
Cassidy: Except he doesn't work for Team Rocket like you.
Butch: He's a run of the mill Pokémon Trainer.
Ash: Is that a fact? That is very interesting.
Cassidy: What should we do?
Ash: Go with my original plan and begin construction. I want to meet this other me, personally.
Butch & Cassidy: Yes, sir.
Jessie: Now I demand to know what is really going on here.
Ash: Calm down, Jessie. Stick with me and you'll get all you could ever ask for. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Back at the Pokémon Center.
Nurse Joy: All of your Pokémon are now in tip-top shape. Please come again.
Ash: Thanks, Nurse Joy.
Nurse Joy: While you're all here, Ash why don't you participate in our town festival. There'll be food, entertainment, contests, and Pokémon battles.
Bonnie: Oh that sounds like fun! Can we stay, Clemont? Please.
Clemont: Can we, Ash?
Ash: Why not. Sure we can stay.
Bonnie: Yay!
Serena: It sure would be nice to have a break.
Ash: Yeah and our Pokémon can have some fun too. Let's go.
Bonnie: Yay! Let's go, Clemont!
Bonnie rushes off.
Clemont: Hey, slow down, Bonnie!
So then Clemont along with Serena and Ash follow Bonnie outside where the other Ash is waiting. He has a magazine up to his face.
Ash: So that's the me in this world. I'm travelling around with two girls, a gym leader, and I have a Pikachu instead of a Raichu. Look's like we need to get acquainted. Don't we, Raichu?
Raichu: Raichu.
Ash: Let's go.
So then the Ash of this dimension and his friends go looking around the city.
Ash: Okay, guys, let's split up. We can all do our own thing and then meet back at the Pokémon Center in a couple of hours, okay?
Serena: Sounds good. I want to do some shopping.
Clemont: I saw this observatory. I wouldn't mind checking that out.
Bonnie: Clemont, that doesn't sound like fun. I want to see the contests. Come on!
Clemont: Bonnie, slow down!
Bonnie: Oh, you're so slow!
Ash: See you later, Serena.
Serena: Sure.
So then Ash and Serena split up and the bad Ash sees his counterpart. Although back on the Team Rocket ship is Phoemos. Who telepathically tries to contact help and he seeks out the Ash of this world.
Phoemos: Ash...help me please....
Ash: Huh? Did you hear something, Pikachu?
Pikachu: Pika?
Ash: I guess it was nothing. Come on. Let's look around.
So they then look around to see that there are some Pokémon battles which makes Ash want to participate. However the bad Ash is watching his good counterpart.
Ash: He likes to battle. Fine, then I'll give him one. I just need a disguise and I need to get him away from town.
Bad Ash sees someone walk past him so he then steals his clothes to try and mingle. He then puts on a different hat and a pair of glasses.
Bad Ash: Ahem. Hey, you.
Ash: Yeah.
Bad Ash: I see you like to battle.
Ash: Yeah.
Bad Ash: I'll battle you. I know a place where we can battle in private. My Raichu against your Pikachu.
Ash: Okay then. Let's do it.
Bad Ash: Follow me.
Phoemos: Don't follow.
Ash: There it is again.
Bad Ash: What?
Ash: Nothing. Let's go.
So then Bad Ash leads his good twin away to a warehouse where Bad Ash soon escorts him in.
Ash: So when do we start?
Cassidy: Right now, twerp.
Lights flash on and both Butch and Cassidy grab Ash.
Ash: Cassidy and Bob, again!
Butch: It's not Bob! It's Butch!
Ash: What's going on?
Bad Ash: I'll show you.
The bad Ash takes off his hat and glasses to reveal himself to his good twin.
Ash: AH! You look just like me, but how?
Bad Ash: It's a bit hard to swallow, I bet. However here it is, Ash. I'm you.
Ash: Me? What do you mean, me?
Bad Ash: I'm you, but from another world. A world where I joined Team Rocket.
Ash: No! Why would you want to do a thing like that?
Bad Ash: I like power and I wanted powerful Pokémon. So I joined Team Rocket and as an added plus, I get the fear and respect I so deserved.
Ash: You're crazy. How'd you even get here?
Bad Ash: I captured a very rare and powerful Pokémon that is capable of moving between dimensions. In fact according to legend, Phoemos is a one of a kind Pokémon and has no known other members of its species.
Ash: Really?
Bad Ash: Yes. It's a very powerful fire and fairy type with amazing psychic powers.
Ash: Psychic powers? I knew it. Someone was trying to talk to me and it had to have been Phoemos.
Bad Ash: Hmm. Looks like my trophy wants to escape. I'll make sure to punish it.
Ash: You may look like me, but you're not me at all. Pokémon are our friends and aren't meant to be used as tools for your bad schemes. I'm going to get out of here and stop you!
Bad Ash: Doubtful. Butch. Cassidy. Tie him up and close his mouth.
Butch: Yes, sir.
As Butch and Cassidy do, Bad Ash goes over the rest of his plan.
Bad Ash: While I'm here in your world I'm going to do a little dress up or with your fashion sense, a little dress down. I saw your friends after you left the Pokémon Center, Ash.
Ash: What are you going to do to them?
Bad Ash: Oh, nothing. It's what I'll make them do to you.
Ash: What?
Bad Ash: From what I gather, you're a very liked and respected person. I am going to have to change that. I intend to take your place and make your friends hate you. This world will belong to our leader Giovanni and I am going to make it look like you're the one doing it.
Ash: No!
Bad Ash: Yes!
Bad Ash changes into an exact copy of Ash's clothes while Butch finally gagged Ash's mouth.
Bad Ash: Good. Butch and Cassidy, I want you to now begin the construction of our base here in Kalos.
Butch & Cassidy: Yes, sir.
Jessie: Um, boss twerp, what do we do?
Bad Ash: First off: don't call me twerp or you won't live to regret it. Second: I want you three nitwits to watch him.
James: You got it.
Meowth: But um, boss, the twerp there travels with a Pikachu and you got a Raichu.
Bad Ash: I'll remedy that.
Bad Ash summons a very mean looking Ditto who he commands to become a Pikachu which it does.
Meowth: Aha! So that's how you'll do it.
Bad Ash: Yep. Now let's go "Pikachu", we have friends to defriend. So long, Ash. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Butch and Cassidy follow Bad Ash outside.
Bad Ash: Listen you two: once the three stooges in there serve their worth, I want them gone.
Cassidy: With pleasure.
Butch: Any special means?
Bad Ash: Use your imagination.
Cassidy: I never get tired of working with this kid. Let's go, Butch.
Butch: Right.
So then Butch and Cassidy separate from Bad Ash, but Jessie, James, and Meowth contemplate stealing Ash's Pikachu.
James: The twerp's tied up here and with his Pikachu.
Jessie: It's a golden opportunity, James.
Meowth: We can swipe it and leave the goody good twin here.
Jessie: That's right. By what the bad twerp said....
James: The police will be after him and we can make a clean get away.
Meowth: Then let's swipe and vamoose out of here.
They attempt to do so, but Ash' two other Pokémon: Froakie and Fletchling escape their Poké Balls. They defend Ash by attacking Team Rocket with Water Pulse and Peck attack. Then Fletchling uses its beak to break Pikachu out of its glass dome prison, but also to cut the ropes holding Ash prisoner. Ash then removes the gag from his mouth.
Ash: Thanks, you guys. Now, Pikachu, use your Thunderbolt attack!
Pikachu obeys them and it's a direct hit on Team Rocket, there is an explosion, and they are sent soaring through the air.
Jessie, James, & Meowth: We're blasting off again!
Ash: Okay, we got to save my friends from that bad me. Fletchling, I want you to find Serena and Froakie, you find Clemont and Bonnie. Also if you both run into me or someone else who looks and dressed like me, then I want you to attack. No matter if it's me or the bad me. Got it?
His Pokémon do understand so then they take off at once.
Ash: Let's go, Pikachu. The bad me and his Ditto are probably in town by now.
Ash and Pikachu begin heading back into town and as he thought, his bad twin already made it through.
Bad Ash: Let's see here, I heard them being referred to as as Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie. I better find...
Serena: Ash!
Bad Ash: Huh? Oh, Serena.
Serena: Did you enjoy your Pokémon battles?
Bad Ash: I actually couldn't even get a nibble.
Serena: Really? I saw several going on near the shops I was in.
Bad Ash: I mustn't have looked hard enough then.
Serena: Oh, that's okay. Listen I found Clemont and Bonnie. Why don't we get a snack? I can make some cookies.
Bad Ash: Sure, Serena. What ever you say.
Serena: Are you okay, Ash? You seem different.
Bad Ash: Um, no, of course not. I'm the same old Ash you've known for a while.
Serena is beginning to suspect that Ash is not as he seems and is also getting a very strange vibe off of Pikachu. However Serena decides to play Ash's game and soon even begins to make up stories.
Serena: So, Ash, I hope you're ready for our "date" tonight.
Bad Ash: Date?
Serena: Yes, you promised to take me on one when we got here. I wanted to go to the beach.
Bad Ash: Of course I remember. How could I forget?
Serena has him now. She goes along with the cherade and takes Ash by his hand and they go to the beach. Ash's Fletchling on the other hand spotted Serena with Ash so it then follows them. Froakie though spots Clemont and Bonnie and heads strait to them.
Bonnie: Look, Clemont, a Froakie.
Clemont: Yes it is, Bonnie. Must have lost its trainer.
Bonnie's Dedenne on the other hand pops its head out and recognizes that as Ash's Froakie.
Bonnie: What is it, Dedenne?
Clemont: Bonnie! I think that is Ash's Froakie.
Bonnie: What's it doing here?
Clemont: I don't know, but maybe he's in trouble. We better find him.
Ash: Bonnie! Clemont! There you are.
As Froakie was instructed by Ash himself, Froakie gets in front of Clemont and Bonnie and intends to attack Ash.
Clemont: Froakie, what are you doing? That's Ash!
Ash: It's okay, Clemont. I told Froakie to attack me if he sees me.
Clemont: What? Why?
Ash: It's hard to explain, but I know that Serena is in trouble.
Clemont: What? What's going on?
Ash: There's another guy walking around town with my face.
Clemont: What do you mean?
Ash: I'll explain later.
Phoemos: Ash.
Ash: You again?
Pheomos: Yes. My power may be weakened but I can still reach you. Your twin has taken Serena to the beach. If you can secure my freedom then I may be able to send everyone back to their dimension.
Ash: Where are you?
Phoemos: In a flying machine above the city.
Ash: How can we get there?
Phoemos: Like this.
Phoemos teleports Ash and his friend on the ship right in front of it.
Clemont: What happened? What is that?!
Bonnie: It's so cute!
Ash: Are you Phoemos?
Phoemos: Yes.
Ash: Then we're getting you out. Go on, Froakie and Pikachu. Give it your best shot.
Clemont: Let's go too, Bunnelby and Chespin.
Their Pokémon attack the containment chamber that Phoemos is in and they manage to set it loose.
Phoemos: I am free! Thank you, humans.
Ash: Then you can send them all back to their dimension right?
Phoemos: Yes.
Ash: Good. I need to get to Serena. She's in danger.
Clemont: Ash, please tell us what's going on. What did you mean by dimension?
Phoemos: I am called Phoemos and I am a Pokémon that can travel between various dimensions. That is where this ship, along with its crew come from.
Ash: Then you got to get me to Serena now. Can you take care of Clemont and Bonnie for me?
Phoemos: You have my word.
Ash: Then let's go, Pikachu and Froakie.
Phoemos teleports Ash and his Pokémon away. Ash and his two Pokémon are on the beach now.
Ash: There he is, guys. He's with Serena. What are they doing?
Serena and Bad Ash are holding hands while they are walking on the beach.
Bad Ash: So how was our date?
Serena: It was nice. How about we go to a movie now?
Bad Ash: Sure. (In his head.) This girl Serena is a real air head. Although, I think she's starting to get suspicious. (Out loud.) So how long have you known?
Serena: Known what?
Bad Ash: That I'm not your Ash.
Serena: From the start I think. There was something different about you and Pikachu. I figured it out completely when you went on a date with me.
Bad Ash: So with the secret out, then I guess you'll have to be gotten rid of.
Serena: What do you mean?
Bad Ash: This.
Ash: Hey get away from her!
They both turn to see Ash.
Bad Ash: You! How did you escape?
Ash: My Pokémon: Froakie and Fletchling helped me.
Serena: Two Ashes?
Ash: Careful, Serena. We may be the same person, but he isn't Ash Ketchum. He's a bad, bad guy.
Bad Ash: Ha! I am Ash, you dunce. Except you're good and I'm evil.
Serena: I knew there was something off about you.
Bad Ash: Yes and now that the cat is out of the bag I can get rid of you all! Come on out, Raichu!
Raichu comes out of the backpack that Bad Ash was wearing.
Ash: You go, Pikachu!
Bad Ash: Raichu use your Hyper Beam attack!
Ash: Pikachu, avoid it with your quick attack!
Pikachu does that and Bad Ash marvels at Pikachu's speed.
Bad Ash: Not bad. Raichu, confuse it with your double team!
So then Raichu begins making copies of itself and it confuses Pikachu.
Bad Ash: HAHAHAHAHAHA! Can your pathetic little Pikachu find the real one?
Ash: Pikachu isn't pathetic. Show 'im!
Pikachu then concentrates as hard as he can until he finally gets wind of the real one. Pikachu unleashes a very powerful Thunderbolt attack which hits all the clones, but also the real one too.
Bad Ash: No!
Raichu is down.
Ash: Good job!
Bad Ash: It's stronger than I thought. No matter, I'll still defeat you. Go...
Froakie uses its frubbles to trap Bad Ash's Poké Ball in his hand.
Bad Ash: No.
Bad Ash then begins to run away, but soon Ash and Serena head after him. They run all over the beach until Bad Ash finally reaches a cliff.
Ash: It's over! Just give up.
Bad Ash: Never!
Ash and Serena come closer.
Bad Ash: Come any closer and I'll jump.
Ash: Don't! You won't make it.
Bad Ash: I'd rather be history than taken to jail by you!
Phoemos: That can be arranged!
Bad Ash: Phoemos, you escaped!
Phoemos: Thanks to your good twin. Your team is gone, airship destroyed, and Butch and Cassidy went crawling back to Giovanni with shame. Now it is your turn to face justice!
Bad Ash: Bring it!
Phoemos unleashes a Hyper Beam attack on the cliff that Bad Ash is one which flings him in the air and over the cliff. However Ash goes to try and rescue his evil twin and grabs him in the nick of time.
Bad Ash: What are you doing?
Ash: Trying to save you.
Bad Ash: Why?
Ash: Because I'm better than you.
Bad Ash: Oh really? I doubt it.
Bad Ash hits Ash in the face with the hand that has the Poké Ball stuck to it. The jolt forces Ash to drop his evil twin who plummets into the ocean laughing.
Ash: No.
Phoemos: I am surprised at you, Ash. Even with your twin's evil heart, you still wanted to save him.
Ash: Yeah, because as I said before, I'm better than him.
Phoemos: You are, young man. You all saved me and for that I am truly grateful and I feel that in due time we shall meet again. Farewell, my friends.
Phoemos opens a portal to another dimension and goes through it.
Serena: Ash, you did a good thing trying to save him. Maybe even if he didn't deserve it.
Ash: I guess. Let's get out of here, okay? On to my next gym battle!
Clemont: Yeah!
So then the group head off away from the cliff, but are unaware that Bad Ash lifts his hand over the top of the cliff and begins to laugh.
Bad Ash: They can't get rid of me that easily!
